Weed Wonks Podcast: Michael Bronstein and Chris Lindsey of ATACH on what it will take to end cannabis prohibition once and for all

In the latest episode of Strategies 64’s Weed Wonks podcast, host Jordan Wellington speaks with Michael Bronstein and Chris Lindsey, leaders of the American Trade Association for Cannabis and Hemp (ATACH), about the state of legal cannabis and policy reform efforts in the U.S.

They take an in-depth look at where legalization stands 12 years after Colorado and Washington became the first states to authorize adult-use cannabis, and why policy must continue to be crafted responsibly so that marijuana legalization does not become a cautionary tale.   

They also look at the “remnants of stupid” from the days of total cannabis prohibition, the bigger and longer-term reform goals that remain, and the importance of safety and regulatory certainty in any discussion about legalization. Bronstein and Lindsey also provide an update on where legalization efforts stand in Pennsylvania, where ATACH has been particularly active.
