Clark County Commission honors Strategies 64 with proclamation and key to the Las Vegas Strip
Clark County Commission Chairman Tick Segerblom presented Strategies 64 with a proclamation and key to the Las Vegas Strip during the Second Annual Cannabis Policy Institute Symposium at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on December 3.
The commission honored S64 and our late partner Steve Fox for the key role we played in the historic 2016 Nevada legalization campaign, as well as our ongoing efforts to advance sensible cannabis policy and the legal cannabis market in Nevada and across the U.S. It also recognized the work we are doing with the Cannabis Policy Institute at UNLV, both with the symposium and on various research projects and policy briefs.
Jordan Wellington recognized by Best Lawyers® for work in cannabis law
Strategies 64 partner Jordan Wellington was included in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for his work in the area of cannabis law. According to Best Lawyers, the recognition is based on a peer review process “designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.”
VS Strategies nominated for cannabis consulting firm of the year
We are proud to announce VS Strategies has made it to the final round of voting for “Cannabis Consulting Firm of the Year” at the Emjays International Cannabis Awards.
The public was given the opportunity to nominate firms for each award, and VSS was one of the five firms that received the most nominations. The final winner will be decided by a public voting round along with judging by industry leaders.
This is the first year for the Emjay awards, which are being produced in association with MJBizCon, which is scheduled for November 28–December 1 in Las Vegas. MJBizCon is one of the largest, if not the largest, cannabis industry events, attracting tens of thousands of cannabis professionals.
